At Tender Roots Therapy, we help couples reconnect and find their way back to each other.
For our couples counsellors your relationship becomes our client. We do not take sides, we simple help you learn to communicate effectively, co-regulate and address underlying needs and desires.
Our therapists use a mix of the Gottman method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Couples Therapy is not a magic solution, it takes work, dedication and openness to the process.
At Tender Roots we offer support groups facilitated by our highly trained and skilled therapists. No diagnosis or referral needed.
We are passionate about the transformative nature of collective experience. You will leave group feeling more whole, connected and with a greater understanding of what you are going through, and what is to come.

We aim to offer affordable and community based services that welcomes all bodies and colours of the rainbow. Come as you are and learn how to truly recover and restore.

At Tender Roots Therapy & Wellness, we offer a warm, thoughtfully designed space for healing, connection, and community in our beautiful and historic space! Our building has survived the Halifax Explosion and has original wood floors and brick walls with views overlooking the commons.
You can truly feel the history and good energy when you walk in. Tender roots is capable of hosting a variety of modest wellness offerings in our 400 square foot studio - including therapeutic yoga, breath-work, mindfulness practices, psycho-educational workshops, and mental health support groups led by trusted local practitioners.
