Hi, I’m Leandri (she/her),

Seeking therapy and selecting someone to talk to can be a deeply personal decision. Opening up about your experiences, especially those that feel painful, confusing, or overwhelming, takes courage. My intention is to meet you with warmth, respect, and genuine care, offering a safe, supportive, and accepting space.
We’ll consider all aspects of your life during our sessions, moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Together, we’ll focus on what’s manageable and meaningful at each step. This approach encourages you to share your personal stories, strengths, and challenges, while honouring the fact that your healing is unique, and there is no single right way to get there.  
I use evidence-based approaches such as ACT, CBT, and DBT, which will help us to understand patterns of thinking, emotions, and behaviours, while also building practical skills for coping, emotional regulation, and meaningful change in your own life and relationships with others. Together, we will work toward increasing self-awareness, strengthening resilience, finding your inner strength, and supporting you in reconnecting with your values and sense of purpose, which contribute to improved relationships with yourself and others.
I bring a culturally responsive and inclusive approach to therapy, grounded in experience supporting marginalized families, parents, children, and individuals navigating life transitions and new environments. With eight years of experience as a Registered Counsellor and Registered Educator in South Africa, I have worked across government, private, and specialized education settings, fostering emotional well-being, resilience, and personal growth. I strive to create a supportive and empowering space that honours individuals and communities, with roles focused on learning, development, and emotional well-being.
